The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection _ ^ with the FIR No.454/16 dated 29.03.2016 (PS Vikas Puri) instituted for the offence under Sections 498A/406/34 IPG.

The petitioner is the husband of the complainant. It has been submitted that in the third round of mediation, the dispute has been settled and it has been agreed upon between the spouses that they would part ways amicably.

Considering this aspect of the matter, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

In the event of arrest/ surrender of the petitioner, he shall be released on bail on his furnishing a bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/court. The application stands disposed of.
