1. The original record has been produced. It contains the signed acknowledgment of the Petitioner having received the show cause notices dated 11th August 2014 and 17th February 2015.

2. This being the only substantial ground on which the present petition is being examined, the Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned order dated 11th May 2016 retiring the Petitioner from service with effect from 14th May 2016 with pension and gratuity benefits. The Court, however, accepts the plea of the Petitioner that his dues should be paid to him at an early date.

3. Subject to the Petitioner complying with all the formalities within a period of four weeks from today, all dues payable to him upon retirement should be

paid within a period of eight weeks thereafter. The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
