O R D E R

% 08.12.2017 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to look after his mother and re-establish social ties. A status report has been filed verifying that the family of the petitioner is residing at H.No. 1276/86, Shanti Nagar, Tri Nagar wherein besides his mother aged 68 years other family members i.e. his two brothers along with their families are also residing. The petitioner was granted furlough for three weeks from 21st April, 2017. Since six months have already expired and there is no allegation that when earlier the petitioner was granted parole/furlough he misused the concession granted to him, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. W.P.(CRL) 1868/2017

It is therefore directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/ CMM concerned.

Petition is disposed of.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent Tihar Jail.
