% 19.03.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent no.2 is also present and accepts notice.

Respondent no.2 has been identified by SI Amit Bhati of police station Lajpat Nagar.

He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 8th December, 2016.

He has no objection in case FIR No. 171/2010 under Section 409 IPC registered at police station Lajpat Nagar is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the

interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
