% 28.11.2016 Respondent nos.2 & 3 are father and brother of petitioner no.1. Petitioners have approached the Court seeking police protection. It is submitted that petitioners have married in Arya Samaj Mandir, Village Khirki Exten., New Delhi on 11th November, 2016 without the consent of family members of petitioner no.1 including respondent nos.2 & 3. Respondent nos.2 & are threatening the petitioners with dire consequences. It is submitted that petitioners apprehend danger to their life from respondent nos.2 & 3.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel has placed on record the status

report duly signed by SHO PS Neb Sarai.

During the course of hearing, learned Additional Standing Counsel, on instruction from ASI Mahavir Singh PS Neb Sarai, submits that address of the petitioners has been verified. In the status report, it has been categorically mentioned that beat staff has been sensitized. It is also submitted that telephone numbers of beat staff, Division Officer and SHO PS Neb Sarai have been provided to the petitioners, who may contact them in case of any threat. It is further submitted that beat staff has already been briefed to visit the petitioners' residence.

Accordingly, present petition is disposed of with the direction to SHO PS Neb Sarai to ensure the safety of the petitioners. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
