Sumitra Gehlawat, Mr. Deepanshu and Mr. Paras Singh Gehlawat are accused in FIR no. 628/2017 under Sections 323/354/354-B/506/509/34 IPG registered at police station Mukherjee Nagar on the complaint of respondent no. 2 Smt. Kanta. All the above named persons are neighbours and a quarrel took place between them which led to registration of cross-FIRs. All the above named persons have settled their disputes before Delhi Mediation Gentre, Rohini District Gourts, Delhi on 04.08.2018. It is submitted that aforesaid cross-FIRs may be quashed. Gomplainants Smt. Sumitra Gehlawat and Smt.
Kanta are present in Gourt so are the petitioners in both the cases. They have been identified by ASI Narender Pal Singh and W/SI Upkar Kaur of police station Mukherjee Nagar. Smt. Kanta and Smt. Sumitra Gehlawat say that they have no objection in case their respective FIRs are quashed. ^ Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the concerned parties before Delhi Mediation Gentre, Rohini District Gourts, Delhi, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, both the aforesaid crossFIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom respectively are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
