CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 21.11.2016 Husband and wife have resolved their disputes and started living together since the last one year. Respondent no.2 (wife) is present in Court and admits having settled the matter with petitioner. She further submits that she is living with petitioner since more than one year. She has joined the petitioner for quashing the FIR.

It is noted that matter was settled between the parties before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, Delhi on 22nd May, 2016 and thereafter, they have started living together. In these facts, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the FIR pending against petitioner.

Accordingly, FIR No.210/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Najafgarh, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.

A.K. PATHAK, J.
