ORDER

% 16.01.2017 W.P. (CrI.) No.l 11/2017 has been filed by the petitioner, mother of Pooja who was missing since 02.11.2016. Notice was issued in this matter. This Court was informed by Mr. Mehra, learned Standing Counsel that Pooja has married Amrender on 03.11.2016 and, in fact, Pooja and Amrender have filed a petition being W.P.(Crl.) 3352/2016 seeking protection, in which while issuing notice protection has been granted to the married couple. We had directed production of Amrender and Pooja and also called for the file of W.P.(Crl.) 3352/2016.

Amrender and Pooja are present in Court. Pooja submits that she has

/ married Amrender out of her own free will, without any force or coercion. We had passed over the matter to enable the petitioner to meet her daughter Pooja. At the second call, petitioner submits that she has met her daughter and she is satisfied that Pooja has married out of her own free will. Petitioner submits that her family and she have no objection to the marriage. She further submits that she had received threatening calls from Amrender and his family members, which is disputed by Amrender. Amrender submits that the petitioner and her family members had been making threatening calls to him. Both the parties agree that they would live in peace and harmony and would not make any threatening calls to each other in future.

The statements made are taken on record. In view of the statements made, the petition being W.P. (Crl.) 111/2017 is dismissed as not pressed. W.P. (Crl.) 3352/2016 was filed by Pooja and her husband seeking protection after their marriage which was solemnised against the wishes of the parents of Pooja. They submit that as family of Pooja have now accepted the marriage, they do not wish to press the present petition. In view of the statement made, W.P.(Crl). 3352/2016 is also disposed of. However, mobile number of the beat Constable would continue to be provided to Pooja and Amrender till they are satisfied that there is no threat perception.

The date of 10.02.2017 fixed in W.P.(Crl). 3352/2016 is cancelled. G.S.SISTANM VINOD GOEL,J JANUARY 16, 2017/pst W.P.(CRL) 111/2017 2/2
