O R D E R

% 15.02.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably. Petitioner nos.2 & 3 are the relatives of petitioner no.1. It is prayed that FIR No.649/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Jafrabad on the complaint of respondent no.2 be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Devendra Singh PS Jafrabad. She admits having settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure and coercion.

She submits that she has already received `1.25 Lacs from the petitioner no.1 out of the settled amount of

`2.50 Lacs.

Remaining settled amount of `1.25 Lacs has been paid by petitioner no.1 to respondent no.2 by way of a Demand Draft, photocopy whereof has been placed on record. Respondent no.2 further submits that she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2, inasmuch as, the entire settled amount has been received, in the interest of justice, FIR No.649/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Jafrabad is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
