% 01.12.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 3rd June, 2016 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) No.5527/2016, whereby the respondents were directed to treat the petitioner's writ petition as a representation and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, decide the same within a period of four weeks. Today learned counsel for the respondents has handed over an order dated 29th November, 2016 passed by the Assistant Commissioner, Advertisement, SDMC, whereby the petitioner's application for grant of permission has been rejected. A copy of the said order is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid order, this Court is of the opinion that

the present contempt petition has become infructuous and it accordingly stands disposed of.
