% 23.11.2016 Petitioner and respondent no.2 are known to each other. Petitioner is a friend of the nephew of respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 has lodged the FIR alleging therein that petitioner forced her to pay `2 Crores to him and in case amount is not paid, he threatened her of dire consequences. Respondent no.2 and petitioner have settled their disputes. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner, on her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and influence. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties, in the

interest of justice, FIR No.0080/2016 under Section 384/506 IPC registered at police station Tughlak Road, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
