CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 26.04.2017 In the application form for admission submitted by petitioner through his father with Delhi Public School (respondent no.3), in the column of father's name 'Farhat Hasan' was filled up. Even in the birth certificate of petitioner, name of his father has been mentioned as 'Farhat Hasan'. It appears that in the admission register, respondent no.3 wrongly mentioned the name of father of petitioner as 'Farhat Hasan Choudhary' which is still continued in records including the documents forwarded to respondent no.1, CBSE. Consequently, in the Grade Sheet-Cum-Certificate of Performance for session 2014-16 issued by Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, name of father of petitioner has been recorded as 'Farhat Hasan Choudhary'.

Name of the father of petitioner is 'Farhat Hasan'. Accordingly, respondent no.3 is directed to make the correction in the records and forward the same to CBSE to make correction in Grade Sheet-Cum-Certificate of Performance for session 2014-16. Original Grade Sheet-Cum-Certificate of Performance for session 2014-16 be submitted by petitioner with respondent no.1 within four weeks.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
