O R D E R

% 29.11.2016 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.106/2012 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 323/324/354 IPC against the petitioners.

The complainant is present in Court. She is identified by the Investigating Officer.

The parties have arrived at a settlement on 27.11.2014, which has been placed on record. The complainants state that they have not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that they have entered the settlement out of their own free will. They further state that they join the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.

Since the petitioner and respondent nos.2 to 4 are neighbours, the beat constable of the area is directed to keep a watch on the conduct of the petitioner from time to time to prevent any untoward incident. Since the charge sheet already stands filed and the charges are framed, the petitioner states that he is willing to attone for his conduct and leaves it to the court to subject him to costs. Accordingly, subject to deposit of Rs.15,000/- with Prime Minister's National Relief Fund, the FIR in question shall be quashed. Once the receipt of payment is provided to the IO, the case shall be closed.
