% 05.07.2017 This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed by the petitioner, seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus and production of Deepti, with whom he claims to be married on 20.06.2017 at Arya Samaj Mandir. Copy of the Marriage Certificate and photographs have been filed on record. The case of the petitioner is that post marriage, the petitioner is being threatened by Deepti's family members including her brother and she is being illegally detained by them.

Notice was issued in the matter. Deepti has been produced in Court. We have interacted with Deepti in the presence of Ms.Radhika Kolluru, Advocate who was present in Court, as also Mr.Rahul Mehra, Standing Counsel for the State and also in the presence of Mr.Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner. Deepti does not wish to join the company of the petitioner. She submits that she has not got married to the petitioner.

Resultantly, the petition is dismissed as not pressed. Mr.Sinha submits that the petitioner will seek such remedies as available to the petitioner in accordance with law.
