W.P. (Crl.) 3421/2016 On the oral prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, Smt. Saroj w/o Sh. Naresh Kumar is impleaded as respondent no.3. Respondent no. 2 is daughter of respondent no. 3. Petitioners are living in the same locality where the respondent nos. 2 and 3 are living.

A quarrel took place between them over bursting of crackers on 30th October, 2016 at 09:30 pm. FIR No. 659/2016 under Sections 354/323/341/506/34 IPC has been registered at police station

Punjabi Bagh, on the complaint of respondent no. 2. She has alleged in the FIR that petitioner no.1 and his sons Moni and Mansih (petitioner no.2) gave beatings to her and her mother, i.e. respondent no.3. It is noted that a cross FIR No. 660/16 was also registered under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC against the respondent no.3 and her other family members, on the complaint of petitioner no.1 with regard to the same incident. Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have settled their disputes amicably. Above-mentioned cross FIR has already been quashed by this Court vide order dated 28th November, 2016 passed in W.P.(Crl.) 3405/2016. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and submit that they are not willing to pursue the present FIR any further in view of the compromised arrived at between them and petitioners. Keeping in mind the above facts, FIR 659/2016 under Sections 354/323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Punjabi Bagh, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
