CRL.M.C. 4407/2016 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking quashing of FIR bearing No.784/2015, under Sections 380/448 IPC, registered at Police Station Seema Puri, Delhi. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the respondent No.2/complainant were the landlord and tenant and due to some misunderstanding, an FIR bearing FIR No.784/2015, under Sections 380/448 IPC was registered at Police Station Seema Puri, Delhi. Counsel

further submits that after the registration of the said FIR, with the intervention of close friends and near relatives, the matter has been amicably settled between the parties before the Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi vide Settlement Agreement dated 17.11.2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties, nothing remains to be adjudicated upon by this Court and prays that the FIR in question and all proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

On the other hand, respondent No.2/complainant is present in Court and admits that the matter has been amicably settled between them and further submits that he has got no objection if the FIR in question is quashed.

Looking into the facts and circumstances, since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the fact that the petitioner and the respondent No.2/complainant are the landlord and tenant respectively, in the interest of justice and to have better relations, peace and harmony between them in near future, FIR bearing No.784/2015, under Sections 380/448 IPC, registered at Police Station Seema Puri, Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
