W.P.(CRL) 3381/2016 On the complaint of husband of respondent no.2, present FIR No.0043/2013 under Sections 324 IPC was registered at police station Delhi Cantt. Husband of respondent no.2 is stated to have been died during the pendency of FIR. Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that death of husband of respondent no.2 has nothing to do with the present incident.

As regards this incident, husband of respondent no.2 had sustained simple injuries as a result of beatings given by the petitioners. ASI Ram Bhajan submits that husband of respondent no.2 was murdered after about one year of the present incident in respect whereof separate FIR has been registered. Petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes involved in the present FIR, which is with regard to a minor quarrel that took place between the petitioners and husband of respondent no.2. Compromise deed dated 18th November, 2016 has been placed on record. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Ram Bhajan PS Delhi Cantt. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners, on her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and influence. She further submits that the present FIR may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the respondent no.2 and petitioners, in the interest of justice, FIR No.0043/2013 under Sections 324 IPC registered at police station Delhi Cantt, which is still at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
