% 08.08.2017 It is submitted that matter has been settled between the appellant and respondent no.1 (complainant), inasmuch as, settled amount has already been paid.

Counsel for the respondent no.1 admits that matter has been settled before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre on 11th January, 2017.

He submits that respondent no.2 is agreeable for compounding of the offences under Sections 135/138 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties, inasmuch as, settled amount already stands paid, the offences under Sections 135/138 of the Electricity Act are permitted to be compounded. Appellant is

acquitted.

Appeal is disposed of in the above terms.
