This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India impugns the imposition of costs of Rs.2,000/- on the petitioner / appellant by the Rent Control Tribunal vide order dated 10th April, 2017 and again of costs of Rs.2,000/- vide order dated 2nd June, 2017.

The petition is disposed of by requesting the Rent Control Tribunal to sympathetically consider / reconsider the request of the petitioner for waiver of costs, keeping in mind that the petitioner has been fighting against a large number of old tenants while receiving very meagre rent.
