% 15.12.2017 The present Criminal Revision Petition has been filed under Section 397/401 read with Section 482 Cr.PC assailing the order dated 20.01.2015 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge in Criminal Appeal No. 04/2015 titled as „Ashok Gulati Vs. State‟.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have entered into a settlement/compromise dated 06.12.2017 and he has received a sum of Rs.3,22,100/- (Rupees Three Lac Twenty Two Thousand and One Hundred Only) from the respondent No. 1 towards compensation as directed by the Trial Court through one Demand Draft No. 509559 dated 07.12.2017 drawn on ICICI Bank Ltd., Patel Nagar, New Delhi and he has instructions to withdraw the present matter.

Respondent No. 1 is present in Court today and submits that as per the direction of the Trial Court, he has already deposited Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand Only) before the Trial Court towards compensation and he

has no objection if the said amount is released to the victim/petitioner and placed the copies of compensation amount deposited by him before Trial Court and Sai Vridh Ashram. Copies are taken on record. Statements of the parties have also been recorded separately. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. SANGITA DHINGRA SEHGAL, J DECEMBER 15, 2017 gr
