O R D E R
% 04.10.2018 1.
By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to take care of his old mother who is suffering from chest problem and other ailments and re-establish social ties and also challenges the communication dated 23rd August, 2018 whereby the application for grant of parole was rejected on the ground that the petitioner had recently availed furlough for a period of two weeks.
2.
A status report has been filed verifying the medial documents placed on record. As per the verification report, it has been stated that the mother of the petitioner was treated as a case of sepsis on 26th May, 2018 on OPD basis. It is thus evident that after 26th May, 2018, the petitioner's mother has not visited the hospital as there is no other document available in this regard. Further when the said treatment of the mother of the petitioner W.P.(CRL) 2838/2018
was being undertaken, the petitioner was on furlough and even thereafter the petitioner was granted two weeks' furlough in July, 2018. 3.
Thus, this Court finds no error in the impugned order or finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner.
4.
Petition is dismissed.
5.
Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
