O R D E R

% 29.01.2018 Crl.M.A.No.1588/2018 By way of this application the petitioner is seeking modification in the order dated 11.12.2017. Vide order dated 11.12.2017, the petitioner had been granted furlough on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹ 10,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendant with the conditions earlier attached. The only modification now sought is that since the petitioner has not arranged for a surety, the surety bond be dispensed with and he may be permitted to furnish a cash surety instead. This Court notes that the petitioner had been granted benefit of this order on 11.12.2017 but he has not been able to avail of this order only for the reason noted above. The other conditions are not required to be changed. This Court is of the view that the order dated

11.12.2017 needs to be modified and the surety bond of Rs.10,000/- be dispensed with. He may furnish a cash surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- instead.

Application disposed of.

Copy of this order be sent to Jail Superintendant concerned for intimation to the petitioner.
