% 10.02.2017 The petitioner had preferred this writ petition to seek parole in November 2016. However, the latest nominal roll on record shows that the petitioner was released on furlough for a period of three weeks between 26.12.2016 and 16.01.2017. Thus, the ground for seeking parole does not survive as of now.
The petition is, accordingly, dismissed. The petitioner may seek parole as and when justified.
