W.P.(C) 11522/2016 & CM No.45384/2016 The petitioner claims to be widow of Sh.Mahender Singh who was a eligible squatter and vending at "Near Subway of INA Market". Sh.Mahender Singh died on 1st February, 2016. The petitioner prays that her name be substituted in place of her husband. Mr.Sri Harsha Peechara, Advocate, who enters appearance on advance copy, refutes the averments made in the writ petition. He submits that the name of husband of the petitioner does not find mentioned in the list of 628 eligible street vendors.

He further submits that the age of the petitioner as per the Adhar Card placed on record does not match with the averments made in the writ petition.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction be issued to the Town Vending Committee to consider the case of the petitioner. Counsel further submits that relevant documents would be placed before the Town Vending Committee. Learned counsel for the NDMC submits that in case an application is made to the Town Vending Committee, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and expeditiously.

With these directions, the writ petition and all applications are disposed of. Dasti.
