O R D E R

% 22.12.2016 Respondent no. 4 is the father; whereas respondent nos. 5 and 6 are brothers of petitioner no.1. Respondent no.7 is a friend of respondent no.5. It is submitted that petitioner no.1 has married petitioner no.2 without the consent of respondent nos. 4 to 6. It is further submitted that respondent nos. 4 to 7 threatened the petitioners with dire consequences. Hence, this petition.

Vide order dated 1st December, 2016 respondent no. 3 was directed to ensure the safety of the petitioners.

Respondent nos. 4 to 7 are present in Court and submit that they have no grievance against the petitioners nor do they have any intention to cause any harm to them. Petitioner no.1 is present in Court and submits that now

no threats are being received from the respondent nos. 4 to 7. Learned ASC for the State submits that beat staff has already been sensitized, inasmuch as, telephone numbers of Beat Staff, Divisional Officer and SHO have been provided to the petitioners.

In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, submits that present petition is not pressed at this stage and the same is disposed of accordingly.
