O R D E R

% 30.11.2016 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.807/2016 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 325/ 34 IPC against the petitioners at Police Station - Nihal Vihar. Issue notice. Ms. Kapoor accepts notice on behalf of the State. Respondent No.2 is also present in Court and he also accepts notice. He is identified by the I.O.

The parties have arrived at a settlement on 21.11.2016, which has been placed on record. The complainant states that he has not been

subjected to any pressure or coercion and that he has entered the settlement out of his own free will. The complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

The petitioners, who are present in Court, are remorseful about their conduct and undertake to the Court that they shall not indulge in such conduct again. They are warned and advised against taking law into their hands. The petitioners as well as the complainant are young boys, who are students, and, therefore, this Court is inclined to take a lenient view. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
