O R D E R

% 08.12.2016 Petitioner nos.2 to 4 are the relatives of petitioner no.1. Marital discord between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 had led to the registration of present FIR No.1043/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at police station Vivek Vihar on the complaint of respondent no.2. Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes before Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts on 27th January, 2016 vide annexure-2.

Marriage between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved by decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 17th

October, 2016 passed by Family Courts, Shahdara, Delhi. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Avesh Kumar PS Vivek Vihar.

Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1. She admits having received the entire settled amount. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further. Keeping in mind the facts that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably and the entire settled amount has been received, inasmuch as, marriage between them has already been dissolved by decree of divorce by mutual consent, in the interest of justice, FIR No.1043/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Vivek Vihar, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
