Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that thrice directions have been issued to expedite the trial. The trial has not yet been concluded.

It is observed that by order dated 05.03.2014, the Trial Court was directed to conclude recording of evidence within a period of six months. Directions for expeditious trial were reiterated by order dated 05.03.2015, wherein, four months period was granted to conclude the Trial, and thereafter, on 05.08.2016, the Trial Court was directed to conclude the trial within a period of three months. Trial has not yet been concluded. There are still some witnesses remaining. It is stated that approximately five or six witnesses are still remaining to be examined.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that, in case, directions BAIL APPLN. 1706/2017
are issued to the Trial Court to expedite the trial and to conclude recording of the evidence within a period of three months, he would not press the present bail application.

In view of the above, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 5.
The attention of the Trial Court is drawn to the above referred orders and, further, it is directed that the entire evidence be concluded as expeditiously as possible and the proceedings be concluded, preferably, by 15.07.2018.
