O R D E R

% 21.09.2015 Crl.M.A.13869/2015 The applicant/petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 5.8.2015 by which he was directed to be released on parole for a period of 30 days from the date of his release subject to his furnishing bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been incarcerated for about six years by now and nobody is coming forward to become a surety for him. He further submits that he has only one daughter, who stays at Amritsar, Punjab.

It has further been submitted that instead of two sureties, the petitioner be directed to be released on parole with only one surety to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.

On the ground taken by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify

the order dated 5.8.2015.

The petitioner/applicant would be released on parole on his furnishing bond in the sum of Rs.2,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of Jail Superintendent.

Other conditions imposed on him by order dated 5.8.2015 shall be operative.

The order dated 5.8.2015 stands modified to the extent of what has been stated above.

The application is allowed and disposed of.
