O R D E R

% 06.07.2015 The present petition is against the order of the competent authority dated 06.05.2015 whereby the prayer of parole was rejected. A perusal of the order reflects that the application, amongst other grounds was rejected because there was no requisite police verification regarding the address of the convict. Status report has been filed during the course of hearing of this petition. Let that be taken on record.

Status report discloses that the address of the convict is correct. However, the mother of the convict has not been hospitalized and the petitioner has a younger brother who can reasonably well take care of mother of the petitioner. The nominal roll of the petitioner discloses that he was granted furlough with effect from 09.04.2015 to

30.04.2015.

This petition is rejected for the present.

However, in case such a situation arises where the petitioner would be required to be released on Parole on the ground of illness of his mother or for supervising the line of treatment to her, fresh petition may be filed before the competent authority. Needless to say that if any fresh petition referred to above would be filed, the competent authority would consider the same in right perspective.
