% 24.07.2017 The disputes having arisen between the parties in terms of the arbitration clause, Mr. Justice Kailash Gambhir (Retd.) was appointed as the sole arbitrator. The learned Arbitrator entered into reference on 18.01.2016. On 27.01.2017 under Section 29A(3) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, the parties were granted extension of time for arbitration for a period of six months which period will expire on 27.07.2017. It is urged that an application under Section 16 of the Act which was filed by the respondent before the learned Arbitrator. It took considerable time to adjudicate the said application and thereafter, evidence has been recorded on various dates but has not been concluded despite earnest efforts. In view of the these circumstances, the present petition is filed

seeking extension of time.

Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to the present petition.

Accordingly, the time for making the award is extended by six months. The petition stands disposed of.
