O R D E R

% 25.10.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to file SLP and also challenges communication dated 24th August, 2018 whereby his application for grant of parole was rejected. A Status Report has been filed. As per the Status Report, though the residential abode of the parents of the petitioner, his two brother and sisters has been verified, however, the Nominal roll reveals that the petitioner was awarded rigorous imprisonment for life with no remissions for a period of 25 years by the learned Trial Court which was upheld in appeal by this Court on 24th May, 2018 clarifying that till 25 years of imprisonment, petitioner shall not be entitled to remissions. W.P.(CRL) 2832/2018

Considering the sentence awarded and the fact that the facility to file SLP is available in the Jail, this Court finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.

A copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
