W.P.(CRL) 3553/2016 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.717 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 420 IPC against the petitioners at Police Station - Neb Sarai. Issue notice. Ms. Roy accepts notice on behalf of Ms.Nandita Rao,

ASC for the State. Respondent No.2/ complainant is present in Court in person. Mr.Aman Usman appears on his behalf. He states that he shall be filing his Vakalatnama in the Registry. Respondent No.2 is identified by the IO. It is pointed out that there are two other accused, namely Deepak and Sanjiv, who were the employees of the petitioner company. The parties have arrived at a settlement on 16.11.2016, which has been placed on record. The complainant states that he has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that he has entered the settlement out of his own free will. The complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
