By this petition, petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to re-establish social ties and consult a lawyer for filing special leave petition in the Supreme Court and also challenges the communication dated 26th July, 2018 whereby his application seeking parole on the grounds noted above was rejected.

Status report has been filed. As per the status report criminal appeal in question was dismissed by this Court on 1st September, 2009 whereafter the petitioner failed to surrender and was re-arrested on 18th July, 2012. Petitioner is also involved in 12 other criminal cases. 3.
Be that as it may, as per the nominal roll, the petitioner has been granted three furloughs in this year, the last one being w.e.f. 22nd October, 2018 to 13th October, 2018 for a period of three weeks, after rejection of the W.P.(CRL) 2911/2018
application for parole as noted above.

Considering that the petitioner has availed a furlough after rejection for the application seeking parole, this Court finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner, through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
