O R D E R

% 12.01.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole to establish social ties. As per the status report the permanent address of the petitioner i.e. Ward No.4, Cheeka, Distt. Kaithal, Haryana has been verified. As per the nominal roll the petitioner was granted parole for a period of one month by this Court with effect from 19th October, 2015 where after no parole has been granted to the petitioner. The grant of parole to the petitioner is objected on the ground that the conduct of the petitioner in jail is not satisfactory and a punishment was provided to him. As per the nominal roll the last punishment to the petitioner was on 11th March, 2016. More than an year of the last punishment having been W.P.(CRL) 1925/2017

elapsed and on the earlier occasion when the petitioner was granted parole the petitioner surrendered in time, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. The petitioner is thus directed to be released on parole for a period of four weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/ CMM concerned, further subject to the condition that during the period of parole the petitioner would be staying in Haryana at his residential place and would be visiting Delhi at best. The petitioner would also give his mobile number on which, if necessary, contact can be made to the petitioner.

Petition is disposed of.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent Tihar Jail.
