O R D E R

% 16.01.2017 Latest nominal roll has been received and perused. The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition to seek parole for a period of three months to prefer Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court, take care of his old and ailing mother and to re-establish social family ties.

The nominal roll shows that the petitioner is undergoing rigorous imprisonment for ten years since he stands convicted under Section 395/ 397/ 332/ 353/ 186 IPC in case FIR No.142/2012 registered at PS - Mayura Enclave. The criminal appeal preferred by him before this Court was

dismissed on 22.08.2016. The nominal roll shows that the petitioner is involved in three other cases, namely, FIR No.187/2012 under Section 302/ 396/ 398 IPC at PS - S.P. Badli; FIR No.212/2012 under Section 365/ 395/ 397 IPC at PS -Mangol Puri and FIR No.112/2011 under Section 392/ 411/ 34 IPC at PS - S.P. Badli. He stands convicted in another case being FIR No.144/2012 under Section 379/ 411 IPC registered at PS - Samaipur Badli. He was sentenced to the period undergone on 19.04.2016. The jail conduct of the petitioner is found unsatisfactory since he has been inflicted punishments on 06.01.2015 and 19.09.2016.

Mr. Lao submits that the petitioner is a hardened and habitual criminal and he has been placed in a high security prison. He further submits that the petitioner can prefer a Special Leave Petition through jail as well. Looking to the fact that the petitioner is involved in several heinous crimes and he was lastly given punishment on 19.09.2016, I am not inclined to grant parole to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
