% 01.02.2017 Crl. M.A. No.1857/2017 Issue notice. Mr. Akhtar accepts notice on behalf of the State. By this application, the petitioner seeks extension of parole by two weeks. This court vide order dated 03.01.2017 had granted three weeks parole to the petitioner on certain terms and conditions. The said parole was primarily granted to enable him to file a Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court.

Counsel for the petitioner states that he himself is preparing the Special Leave Petition and the same shall be filed in due course and that the petitioner shall not seek parole again on the same ground. He further submits that the petitioner was taken ill for about 4 days. The petitioner has

to make arrangement for funds for filing the Special Leave Petition as well as to take care of the children.

Mr. Akhtar submits that the wife of the petitioner is educated and she is taking tuition classes and providing for the livelihood of the family. Be that as it may. Since the petitioner was granted parole for a period of three weeks, the same is extended on the same terms and condition as laid down before for a period of one week. No further extension shall be granted. The application stands disposed of. Dasti.
