LPA No.674/2016 & CM No.45285/2016 (delay in filing) The respondent No.1 in W.P.(C) No.12951/2006 filed this appeal aggrieved by the dismissal of CM No.25403/2016 wherein he prayed for reinstatement into service.

Having heard the learned counsel for the appellant, though we do not find any justifiable reason to interfere with the order under appeal, having regard to the fact that the writ petition is of the year 2006, we consider it appropriate to direct expeditious disposal of the writ petition. Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to list W.P.(C) No.12951/2006 before the Roster Bench on 09.01.2017 for directions. We request the learned Single Judge to hear both the parties and dispose of the writ petition as expeditiously as possible. The date, if any,
