O R D E R

% 17.08.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent nfo.2 have amicably settled their disputes vide Compromise Deed dated 22nd February, 2017, therefore, FIR No. 165/14 under Sections 420 IPC registered at police station Kanjhawla on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed. It is submitted that disputes arose between the petitioner and respondent no.2 in respect of a property deal.

Now, petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes.

Petitioner has already paid `5.50 lacs to the respondent no.2.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by Insp. Sharad Kohli of police station DIU/Outer District. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She also admits

having received the entire settled amount from the petitioner. She has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view that a settlement has arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 165/14 under Sections 420 IPC registered at police station Kanjhawla and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
