Although the petition was drafted sometime in November, 2016, the petitioner had it listed belatedly for hearing, almost a year later and has been seeking adjournments since then on one ground or the other. It is in this view of the matter that this Court was pleased to observe vide order dated 05.03.2018, that no further adjournment shall be granted on the next date of hearing. Despite that, there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. The petitioner does not seem to be keen to prosecute the present petition.

The petition is dismissed in default and for non-prosecution. The pending application also stands disposed of.
