The petitioner seeks direction to the respondent/Appropriate Government to forward the Reference Petition under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (hereinafter 'the LA Act') made by the petitioner for enhancement of the compensation for the land acquired. The Award bearing No.15/1992-93 was made on 20.06.1992. Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed copy of the Reference Petition dated 14.07.1992.
Having regard to the relief sought, Appropriate Government is directed to forward the Reference Petition under Section 18 of LA Act to the competent court within six weeks from today (if not
already done).
The Writ Petition and all pending application(s) stand disposed of in the above terms.
