After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued for expeditious disposal of the trial and the recording of the prosecution evidence, she shall not press this petition at this stage.

In view of the above and keeping in view the fact that only the Investigating Officer and some formal/official witnesses are remaining to be examined, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and endeavour to conclude the same within a period of 3 months from the next date of hearing before the Trial Court, i.e.15.12.2018.

In view of the above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
