% 23.10.2017 By this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioners have prayed for quashing of FIR No. 627/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered Police Station Jagatpuri, on the complaint of respondent no.

2.

Investigations are still pending. During the investigations itself, petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 13th January, 2017. Statement of respondent no. 2 has already been recorded on oath on 29th August, 2017, wherein she has deposed as under:-

"I state that I am the complainant/respondent no.2 in the FIR No. 627/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Jagatpuri, Delhi.

I have settled all my disputes with the petitioners with my own free will and choice without any threat, pressure and coercion as per the agreed terms and conditions recorded on 13.01.2017 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

Today, I have received balance payment of `30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) in cash against all my claims from the petitioners.

I have no objection, if FIR No. 627/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Jagatpuri, Delhi and all the proceedings emanating therefrom, is quashed."

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 627/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered Police Station Jagatpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
