O R D E R

% 13.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi on 2nd November, 2016, therefore, present FIR may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Ombir Singh of police station Dabri. She admits having settled the matter with the petitioner.

She submits that her marriage with the petitioner has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent on 7th June, 2016 passed by the Family Court, Dwarka.

She also admits having received entire settled amount. She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that marriage between the petitioner and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 is not interested in pursuing the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 154/2013 under Sections 498A/406 IPC registered at police station Dabri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
