When the matter is called out, nobody appears for the petitioner. 2.

We have heard learned counsel appearing for the respondents who have submitted that, in pursuance of a circular dated 1st August, 2019 issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (HQ): Delhi, now epayment is brought into operation. E-challans have also been brought W.P.(C) 5859/2017

into operation for the violation of the traffic rules. Photocopy of the said circular is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid circular dated 1st August, 2019 issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (HQ): Delhi, the grievances ventilated in this petition about the payment of challans by credit or debit card is now no more in existence. E-payment is allowed. E-challans have also been started.

In view of the circular dated 1st August, 2019, this writ petition is hereby dismissed.
