CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE INDERMEET KAUR
O R D E R
% 02.03.2016 Learned counsel for the respondents requests for an adjournment as the main counsel is stated to be unwell. Learned counsel for the petitioner has opposed to this adjournment. Submission is that the landlord is a senior citizen aged about 77 years (present in court). Further submission is that on one pretext or the other the matter is being delayed. Tenant has been served on the last date.
After some arguments learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will not press the petition on merits provided the Trial Court is directed to dispose of the petition expediously. In this background, the Trial Court shall endeavour to dispose of the petition expeditiously and preferably within an outer limit of 14 months from today as this Court has been informed that the evidence
is already in progress. Any observation made in the impugned order will not influence the Trial Court at the time of final judgment. Petition disposed of.
