This is a joint application filed on behalf of the petitioner and respondent No.1.

Learned counsel for the parties submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties vide memorandum of settlement dated 23.11.2017, which has been placed on record. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that an amount ₹1,75,000/- was deposited by the petitioner before the Registrar General of this Court in compliance of the order dated 25.07.2017 and that amount be released in favour of respondent No.1. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over a demand draft bearing No. 759253 issued by Oriental Bank of Commerce dated 29.11.2017 amounting to ₹15,000/- to respondent No.1/workman in the court today.

Learned counsel for the parties have further submitted that in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, nothing remains pending between the parties and respondent No.1 shall not claim any further benefit, right of employment, back wages etc. from the petitioner. It is also stated that both the parties shall be bound by the terms and conditions of the settlement.

Respondent No.1 may withdraw the amount of ₹1,75,000/- by moving an appropriate application before the Registrar General of this court.

In view of the submissions made, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn as being settled.
