By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner has made the following prayers:- (a) To quash FIR No.89/2016 dated 03.03.2016 registered at PS - Greater Kailash, and the proceedings arising therefrom; (b) To issue a writ directing that agreement to sell dated 15.10.2012 be sent to a forensic laboratory for forensic examination; W.P.(CRL) 3473/2016
(c) To direct investigation by an independent investigating authority like CBI, etc. into the illegal, wrongful and malafide conduct of Mr.Balwinder Singh and respondent No.2, who have been working in connivance with the police officials.

Fresh status report on behalf of the State has been filed which is to the following effect:- "1. In continuation of previous status report it is further submitted that on 06.11.17, Untraced report with respect of case FIR No.89/16, u/s 379 IPC, PS GK has been filed before the learned Trial Court.

Petitioner Abu Ali Malik Shroff is no more required for the purpose of investigation of the above mentioned case." 3.
In view of the above, nothing further survives in this writ petition and the same is dismissed.
