W.P.(CRL) 3470/2016 By the present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.763/2016 under Sections 354D/376 IPC registered at PS Aman Vihar on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that the parties have settled the matter. In view of the offence invoked under Section 376 IPC being serious in nature, the above-noted FIR cannot be quashed on the basis of the compromise in view of the decision of the Supreme Court reported as 2012 W.P.(CRL) 3470/2016
