% 23.11.2017 Ms. Gulista, respondent no.2 (complainant) is present in the Court and has been identified by SI S K Singh of Police Station Gokalpuri. Respondent no.2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 on 2nd September, 2016. She further submits that she has settled the disputes with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she is not willing to pursue FIR No.474/2012 under section 498-A/406/354/34 IPC and Section 4 of DP Act registered at police station Gokalpuri against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 9 and, therefore, the same may be quashed. In terms of the settlement, petitioner no.1 has handed over `80,000/- vide demand draft (photocopy whereof is on record) to the respondent no.2 toward balance settled amount.

Respondent no.2 submits that with this payment entire settled amount stands paid. She has no objection in case FIR

is quashed.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case as detailed above, in the interest of justice, FIR No.474/2012 under section 498A/406/354/34 IPC and Section 4 of DP Act registered at police station Gokalpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed.
